ANIMALINE PRIVACY POLICY

Animaline ("Animaline," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the practices of the Animaline ("App" or “Website”). It explains how we collect, use, share, storage, disclosure, use, transfer, and other processing of your data (Personal & Non-Personal) and the usage and sharing of contents and safeguard your information when you use our platform, including our website, mobile application, and any associated services (collectively, the "Platform").

By using or accessing our "Animaline" Platform, you agree that we can store and process your data in accordance with this Policy, which is subject to revision from time to time. This Privacy Policy applies uniformly to all Animaline mobile applications/Website.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect various types of information to improve our services, ensure the Platform’s security, and personalize the user experience.

1.1 Personal Information:
  • Registration Data: When you create an account, we collect personal details such as your name, email address, phone number, and age.

    • (a) Mobile Number: We verify and validate the mobile number provided by you. Other uses:

      • Mobile number is also used in assisting you in case of any account-related queries raised by you.
      • Mobile number is also used to communicate account-related activities and custom offers occasionally.
    • (b) Email Address: Your email address is used to communicate service alerts (your activity on Animaline & service-related communication). Other uses:

      • We verify your email address through 3rd party services to detect fraud/unauthorized usage of Animaline.
      • We send commercial or marketing messages which we deem to be relevant to you, with an option to unsubscribe in each email. We shall not send you any email communication if you choose to unsubscribe from these messages.
    • (c) Name & PAN Card Number: Your PAN is used to verify your identity.

      • We verify your PAN card through 3rd party services to ensure genuine usage of Animaline and allow you to benefit from Animaline services.
    • (d) Bank Account Information: Your bank account information is used to ensure payouts are provided only to your bank account that matches with your name on the PAN card.

      • We verify your Bank information through 3rd party services to ensure genuine usage and that your payouts happen only in your bank accounts.
      • This information is stored in an encrypted format.
  • Identity Verification: We may require verification documents to confirm your identity or your legal right to use our services (e.g., government-issued ID).

  • Social Media Login: If you register through social media accounts, we may collect information associated with that account, subject to the privacy settings on those platforms.

All required information is service-dependent, and the organization may use the above said user information to maintain, protect, and improve the Animaline Services and for developing new services. In case you choose to decline to submit your mobile number and email address information on the app during registration, we will not be able to provide services on the platform to you.

1.2 Transactional Data:
  • Purchases: Data related to purchases, such as the type of animal or product purchased, price, payment details, and transaction history.

  • Listings: Information provided in listings, including descriptions, pricing, images, and related details for animals or products listed for sale.

1.3 Usage Data:

  • Activity: Interaction data including page views, clicks, searches, and other activity on the Platform.

1.4 Communication Data:

  • Veterinary Consultations: Details of veterinary consultations are recorded and stored, subject to the user’s consent and in compliance with applicable laws.

2.1 Platform Functionality:
  • Account Management: To create and manage user accounts, including verifying user identities and providing account support.

  • Veterinary Consultations: Information collected from veterinary consultations is used to connect users with practitioners, track health queries, and record consultation outcomes.

In general, we use Session and Usage Data internally to serve our Users and enable them to take maximum advantage of the Applications, the Services, and the Site. We do not disclose your Personal Information. Though information aggregate may be provided to partners to provide tailored ads and notifications to users.

We may disclose Non-Personal Information to our trusted partners who shall comply with this privacy policy and the relevant privacy laws. We do not combine Non-Personal Information with Personal Information (such as combining your name with your unique User Device number).
